The former ACB heavyweight champion Salimgerei Rasulov is going to fight against Evgeny Erokhin at the ACB 67. Salimgerei told about the way he’s training for the fight and about his opponent:
Now I am at the training camp in the Crimea, the city of Alushta, with the Russian national MMA team. The camp is awesome, there's a great line-up. There are many champions here: the Ahmat, Bellator fighters. Even Denis Goltsov was here. We sparred with him a little bit in a friendly way yesterday. There’s a great atmosphere here. All coaches treat you individually, as their student. I want to give my all in this environment. I do not have my own coach, I train here and there. And here I have been training this way for almost a month now. The atmosphere is pleasant. So it's much easier to prepare this way.
I have a good opponent. He has fought with nice, well-known fighters. He is versatile. In principle, it does not matter to me who to fight with. I'm just telling my manager to give me anyone. The main thing is that I am properly prepared and approach this fight in the best shape. Now I’m feeling great. I haven’t trained so hard for a long time. I want to get back in action, feel the competition. I want to return my belt.
