Ali Bagov to Face Ali Abdulkhalikov at ACA 206

Two experienced Russian lightweights will meet inside the ACA cage on August 15 at ACA 206 in Moscow, as former ACA Lightweight Champion Ali Bagov takes on one of the division's top contenders, Ali Abdulkhalikov.

Bagov is one of the most accomplished fighters in ACA history. He has compiled 35 career victories, including 24 by submission, and has spent years competing against the elite of the lightweight division. During his time in ACA and ACB, he earned notable wins over Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov, Daud Shaikhayev, Davy Ramos, Murad Machayev, and many other high-level opponents.

Bagov last competed at ACA 200, where he dropped a closely contested split decision to Iskandar Mamadaliev.

Abdulkhalikov enters the matchup following an impressive first-round knockout victory over Amir Elzhurkaev at ACA 203. The Russian owns a professional record of 17 wins and four losses, with six victories coming by knockout. Over the past few years, he has established himself among the division's leading contenders and previously challenged Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov for the ACA Lightweight Championship.

The matchup brings together two fighters with contrasting styles. Bagov has long been regarded as one of the greatest grapplers in ACA history, posing a constant submission threat on the ground. Abdulkhalikov, meanwhile, is known for his disciplined striking, relentless pace, and ability to control fights over the full distance.

ACA 206 will take place on August 15 at CSKA Arena in Moscow. Tickets are available on the official ACA website.
