Russian fighter Artem Frolov shared his thoughts ahead of his upcoming bout against Faridun Odilov, which will headline ACA 209 in Dushanbe on October 30. Frolov believes the support of the home crowd will put additional pressure on his opponent.
“I can imagine what the atmosphere will be like in Dushanbe. I think it will only motivate me even more. Faridun will be in the same environment, but he has to win. He certainly doesn't want to lose in front of his home crowd. He has more responsibility to his fellow countrymen.
This upcoming fight will be a test for me. I want to go there, and I believe I can handle it. We'll see how he handles it. Odilov isn't better than me in any aspect of the game. I'm going there to win, ” Frolov said.
The bout between Artem Frolov and Faridun Odilov will headline ACA 209 on October 30 in Dushanbe. The event will mark ACA's return to Tajikistan after an 11-year absence.
