Nikola Dipchinkov: "In preparation for the ACB 61 tournament, I sparred with Gegard Mousasi"

My latest win in Vienna did not make me very happy, as I wanted to fight against Chuzhigaev. I accepted the fight with Alexander only because I was very well trained and wanted to make use of my preparation. However, I am really grateful to the organizators for finding me an opponent in the very last moment; I am aware that this is not an easy task. It is important for me to fight against good opponents, as I really want the title and believe I am ready for it. I know that my next fight against Butorin will be very spectacular and interesting for the MMA fans. I am glad that both of us are strikers and love the fight in stand, because the public will rest very satisfied. My preparation is going really well. I was sparing-partner of my friend Gegard Mousasi for his last fight against Chris Weidman. Now I am continuing my preparation back in Bulgaria and am looking forward to this fight. I know that Saint Petersburg is the birthplace of my opponent and that this is a big advantage for him, but this does not bother me at all. I have had many fights agains skilled opponents in Sofia and have always wondered how they felt... so now I have the opportunity to find out.

I am at that stage of my MMA career when I can not pick up my opponents, the only thing that matters to me now is to make nice fights and get good reward.

I am glad that ACB is developing so quickly and works with so talented fighters. I am proud to be part of it.
