Ustarmagomed is scheduled to face an ACB lightweight champion Abdul-Aziz Abdulvakhabov on May 5th at ACB 86. He spoke to us about the upcoming bout:
How your preparation has been so far?
- It less than three weeks till the fight. I've put in solid work. Everything has gone according to plan, now I need to spar some more and take care of my weight. The last sparring session will go down 10 days prior to my fight.
Your team, Dagestan Fighter, have a huge success in MMA, what's the secret behind it?
- There's no secret, just a lot of hard work plus the knowledge of our coach Mansur Uchukaev. It's all his merit. Discipline and the ability to execute the game plan - that's our secret. And there's nothing special, we're just working and doing everything our coach says.
You're getting a huge support from the fans, how important is that for you?
- It's very important for me. There will be a lot of my fans, friends and family members. Everyone should be in SC "Olymiyski" on May 5th, it will be a great show. I think it will be the most spectacular event in the history of Russian MMA. And we'll do everything to meet the fans expectations. Get ready to get a crazy adrenaline rush!
